I'm in LA at a gaming convention. Not computer games or anything normal like that, but table-top games. I like face-to-face games better than computer games. So I'm having a good time.

I read a third of William Gibson's Pattern Recognition on the way here. Good book. I realized I read way faster if I don't look up every word I don't know, and I still get the gist. My grandpa mentioned once your vocabulary improves with reading, even if you don't look the words up. I think it's true. There are seriously about 2 words per page I've never seen before.

I'll probably see Bruce Almighty today. I hope it doesn't suck.
