This guy from work is leaving our group. He talks about California just about every other sentence, and has for the past year, so it wasn't much of a surprise he finally decided to head back there.

Sometimes when people leave there isn't much warning. Their last day they send out a goodbye email, and I'm left with a weird feeling. I'm always thinking...doesn't that guy owe me ten bucks?
