So the weather is nice and I don't write in my blog as often. Is that so hard to understand? I've long suspected that's why Bill Gates moved his company here early on.

Another plus for the Seattle area: during the summer, days last really long. For example it's a bit after 7 and still pretty much as bright as day here. According to Yahoo! weather, the sun will not set until 9:02 p.m. Pretty neat. And the rest of the year, when it's raining, who needs the sun anyway?

Sounds like Scale8, company started by my schoolmate Josh Coates, has finally gone under. Long ago I decided not to take a position with them. I've had a few mixed feelings about that decision since then, but this eases my mind a little bit.

I think it's pretty stupid whan people get angry about in-state tuition for children of illegal immigrants. There are so many bigger things to worry about, such as a multi-hundred billion dollar federal deficit. I think there are worse things to do with money. Orson Scott Card puts it much better.
