There is this organization called SETI (SET-ee), or the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence. They process signals from outer space and try to see if they're messages from extraterrestrial beings.

Yesterday I read that someone thinks we should be careful because a computer virus might come from outer space through SETI. Based on my knowledge of computers, I think that's unlikely. However, it is likely that we will fall for any message that says, "There will be another big bang, which will destroy all planets in the universe, unless you forward this message along to as many planets as you can."
