Crabby movie reviews
I watched some movies lately that remind me why I resist going to the movies. To me, every movie's title should be "Opportunity Cost."
- The Bourne Identity ** A nice action movie with a stupid plot. A stupid plot wouldn't matter except it took up too much of the movie.
- Donnie Darko: The Director's Cut ** Everyone else seems to like this movie, but it was blah, a spectacle of odd connections inside of a weird pointless story. It had a lot of extraneous characters and situations thrown in. The acting was good and it had a few laughs, though. If anyone can tell me some deep inner meaning, please do.
There was one movie that I liked so much I saw it twice.
- I, Robot ***1/2 Pretty good story, great performance by Will Smith, fantastic action and CG sequences with an inspiring view of the future. "You are having an accident!"
